🎨 Calling All GMS Students! 🎨
The Military Student Club is excited to announce an Art Contest! We invite all GMS students to showcase their creativity by submitting an artistic creation that represents the dandelion, a powerful symbol of resilience and strength.
🗓️ Submission Deadline: March 24th 📍 Submit To: Ms. K or Mr. Fox 📏 Requirements: Each creation must be 8.5 x 11 inches in size and include the student's name, grade, and contact information.

Beginning January 6, 2025, all YCSD schools will implement No Cell, Bell-to-Bell policies. Ensuring students have their personal devices off and away during the school day fosters a safe and healthy learning environment, where students can fully engage in their studies and interact meaningfully with their peers and teachers.
The York County School Division is partnering with the Virginia Department of Education to host viewings of the fireside chat followed by a community conversation. Families, students, and staff are invited to participate in these events.
The York County School Division has transitioned to a new online payment and form system, SchoolCash Online. This platform replaces Rycor as the preferred method of payment for school-related fees such as fundraisers, field trips, school spirit wear, etc.

This portal will allow parents and guardians access to all of their student's state test results including fall and winter Growth Assessments and the spring Standards of Learning (SOL) assessments.
